About me

I’m Dr. Lindsay Campbell, MS, PsyD, BCBA, a Licensed Clinical Psychologist (PSY35915) and Board Certified Behavior Analyst (1-19-35746) specializing in comprehensive psychological and neuropsychological evaluations across the lifespan. I bring a unique blend of clinical psychology, neuropsychology, applied behavior analysis, and forensic assessment to every client and family I work with. My practice is grounded in clinical precision, deep compassion, and a commitment to creating clarity in even the most complex diagnostic questions.

I hold advanced graduate training in School Neuropsychology, a Doctor of Clinical Psychology (Magna Cum Laude), a Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, and an extensive clinical background spanning neurodevelopmental, cognitive, emotional, medical, and forensic contexts. My assessment work includes autism, ADHD, learning disorders, NVLD, giftedness, intellectual disability, cognitive disorders, trauma-related presentations, and complex differential diagnosis. I evaluate individuals from 18 months through adulthood, offering clear diagnostic impressions and evidence-based recommendations that are practical, individualized, and deeply attuned to each person's lived experience.

In addition to clinical practice, I am an Assistant Professor of Behavior Analysis at National University, where I teach graduate courses in functional assessment, behavior change, supervision, interventions, and philosophical underpinnings of ABA. Teaching is an important part of my identityy, as I am passionate about developing thoughtful, ethical, and highly competent clinicians.

My background also includes extensive work in forensic and disability evaluations, where I conduct comprehensive neuropsychological assessments, prepare medico-legal reports, and provide objective, evidence-driven opinions on diagnostic clarity and functional capacity. I have served as a clinical writer in legal contexts, a peer reviewer for IMEs, and a supervisor in patient advocacy within county mental health systems.

In addition to comprehensive evaluations, I provide individual therapy for children, adolescents, and adults using a warm, collaborative, and evidence-based approach. I integrate CBT, DBT, attachment-focused work, and behavioral strategies to support clients with anxiety, ADHD, emotional regulation, identity concerns, perfectionism, neurodiversity-related challenges, and relational or attachment difficulties. My background in neuropsychology allows me to offer therapy through a uniquely brain-based, insight-oriented lens, helping clients understand their patterns and develop practical tools for meaningful, lasting change.

Across every role, clinician, neuropsychologist, professor, evaluator, and consultant, my goal is the same:

to help people understand themselves with accuracy, depth, and compassion, and to translate complex data into meaningful, actionable insights.

Whether you're seeking answers about neurodevelopment, navigating school or workplace challenges, exploring diagnostic clarity, or searching for a clinician who truly understands both the science and the human dimensions of psychological assessment, I’m here to help.
